Location: Mississauga Campus, Canada (2-3 days onsite per week)

Genentech is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to bridge the gap between customers and technical teams. The role involves gathering requirements, translating them into actionable specifications, and contributing to the development of a platform console used for asset management and self-service features.

Business Analyst / UX

• Gather and document detailed customer requirements.
• Convert customer needs into functional specifications, workflows, and concepts.
• Collaborate with technical leads to validate processes and ensure requirement alignment.
• Facilitate communication between customers, technical teams, and stakeholders.
• Document business processes, workflows, and identify areas for improvement.
• Assess proposed solutions to ensure they align with business needs.
• Provide support throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Participate in quality assurance and testing phases.
• Develop user manuals, guides, and training materials.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in cloud & security environments.
• Business Analysis certifications (CBAP, CCBA) are a plus.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in business analysis tools (e.g., Diagram, Jira, Markdown).
• Strong understanding of Cloud and Security concepts.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Customer-centric approach with a value-oriented mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or collaboratively.

• Requires onsite work (2-3 days per week) at the Mississauga Campus.
• Interview format: 1 round (1 hour) covering general and technical questions.

• Must have experience in business analysis and cloud/security environments.
• Preferred candidates will have relevant certifications and a strong customer-focused approach.
