Administration Excellence and Organization
FIFTH SEASON is a global leader in the creation, production, and distribution of feature films, star-driven television series, and premium documentaries. Known for producing and distributing award-winning content that engages audiences and moves culture, the studio’s film titles include hit ensemble comedies 80 for Brady and the Book Club franchise for Paramount and Universal, John Carney’s Flora and Son for Apple TV+, William Oldroyd’s Eileen for Neon, the multi-Oscar-nominated The Lost Daughter from Maggie Gyllenhaal for Netflix and Michael Bay’s Ambulance for Universal. The studio produces star-driven TV series, including the 14 Emmy-nominated Severance, See, Truth Be Told, and Lady in the Lake starring Jason Momoa, Octavia Spencer, and Natalie Portman, respectively, as well as upcoming series from Jason Momoa, Chief of War, and The Savant starring Jessica Chastain all for Apple TV+, Amy Schumer’s Life & Beth and limited-turned-returning series Nine Perfect Strangers starring Nicole Kidman for Hulu as well as two seasons of Tokyo Vice for Max and Wolf Like Me for Peacock. Responsibilities:
Administration Excellence and Organization
- Maintain and manage executive calendars with precision, anticipating needs for meetings/videoconference/calls, adapting to the demands of an international business spanning multiple time zones.
- Prepare meeting agendas, organize and distribute materials, handling both internal and external appointments of varying formalities.
- Record and organize meeting notes, distributing follow-up materials as needed.
- Proactively update grids, presentations and shared folders.
- Arrange travel accommodations and process executive expenses in alignment with company policies.
- Screen calls and handle inquiries with tact, referring or escalating as appropriate.
- Draft, review and compose various forms of correspondence such as memos, reports, and submissions letters
- Assertively follow up on tasks and projects to ensure timely completion.
- Manage submissions to Executives, including books, scripts, and pitches, reviewing or distributing as directed.
- Prepare talent lists and organize weekly book scout reports
- Conduct market research and track industry trends, including ratings, audience data, competitive programming and emerging content trends
- Strong communications skills, able to engage effectively across all levels of the organization and with external partners.
- Adaptive, resourceful, and mature, with excellent professional judgment.
- Commitment to confidentiality and diplomacy in all interactions.
- Proficient problem-solving abilities.
- Experienced in assessing creative and commercial viability of scripts and books.
- Expertise in MS office, G Suite, Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Adobe
- Experience with industry-specific technology and platforms (e.g., FinalDraft, Pix, Scenecronize, IMDBPro, Studio System).
- Knowledge of directing talent, agents, and production companies
- Understanding of the current US/International TV landscape, including buyers, producers, and agents

- Core working hours are Monday to Friday onsite, 8:30am – 6:30pm EST, with flexibility to manage the international nature of our business, spanning multiple time zones.
