Senior Product Marketing Manager
Job Title Senior Product Marketing Manager Job Description Acting as a key spokesperson for products internally and externally, the Product Marketing Manager is a pivotal role responsible for defining product positioning in market, conducting thorough competitive analysis, prioritizing key features that will attract customers, leading go to market launches and shaping how a product is presented to the public through agile product marketing strategies. You will need to be comfortable engaging with and presenting to customers, partners, internal teams and managing partner relationships across the Kaplan International Pathways portfolio and global markets. Key Responsibilities Craft a compelling product storytelling vision and voice that attracts the target audience and differentiates from others within the Kaplan International Pathways portfolio and wider market, aligned to individual product and overall Kaplan brand values.
Develop and implement global product marketing strategies for Kaplan partners and core product set, integrating partner and business goals and aligning to market dynamics and customer preferences.
Cultivate and maintain strong collaboration with Kaplan partner marketing teams and stakeholders within marketing and across the wider business, fostering effective communication and collaboration between partners and internal teams.
Manage partner accounts, setting a regular cadence of meeting, monitoring communication channels, and agreeing joint marketing initiatives with university partners focusing on key markets.
Connecting with sales and regional markets to share product marketing updates and source feedback incorporating into existing and strategies, regional positioning and sales enablement tools and materials.
Understanding regional market dynamics to support localization efforts for China, India and MENA markets, ensuring relevance and effectiveness and adapting strategies as needed.
Working cross-functionally with various internal departments to ensure a unified approach to product marketing, participating in cross-departmental meetings to provide partner marketing direction, build relevant reports on partner activities, collaborate to share insights and help to shape effective content marketing.
Supporting local Partner events and hosting visiting Kaplan teams as needed.
Experience/Skills required 6+ years of experience in product marketing.
Formal strategic marketing education or training.
Creative and agile thinker with an affinity for a fast-paced work environment.
Exceptional teamwork and influencing skills, with the ability to work with others cross-functionally and present to senior stakeholders.
Ability to conduct regional, market, competitor, and customer research to gather insights and assess regional market opportunities.
Ability to independently handle multiple tasks and projects with precision.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Availability to travel.
Account management experience is a bonus.
