Position Summary
TaxAct is seeking an SEO Manager to help execute our B2C and B2B businesses' SEO strategy. As an SEO expert, you'll work with SEO Leadership to execute effective strategies to boost authority, enhance search engine rankings, and drive traffic and revenue growth. The ideal candidate is a Keyword Research wizard and has a strong background in SEO best practices and a proven track record in running and executing successful SEO campaigns and strategies.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Work with SEO Leadership on strategy and tactics Execute a comprehensive SEO strategy aligned with business objectives. Follow the established SEO roadmap, ensuring timely and effective implementation including meta updates, on-page optimizations, interlinking, backlink building, technical updates, etc... Conduct ongoing keyword research, identify opportunities, and benchmark against competitors. Create and oversee SEO-driven content to enhance authority and rankings. Help SEO leadership partner with content creators, developers, paid search, and agency partners to plan, execute and track SEO initiatives Advocate for SEO across internal teams Conduct technical site analyses, site audits and help SEO Leadership prioritize SEO roadmap. Help inform SEO Leadership by tracking and reporting weekly on rankings and traffic Plan and execute A/B tests, evaluate results, and drive improvements. Stay updated with industry trends, algorithm updates, and competition. Education & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field. At least 7 years hands on SEO experience. Proficient in SEO best practices, keyword research, and analytics. In-depth knowledge of Google Search Console, Ahrefs and SEMrush Google Analytics certification a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Physical Demand & Work Effort Keying/typing, standing, walking. Sitting for an extended period. Constant mental and/or visual attention; the work is either repetitive or diversified requiring constant alertness in an office environment. The job is typically performed under comfortable working conditions; any disagreeable elements are generally absent during the normal performance of the job. Compliance with company attendance standards.
