PRINCIPAL BRAND DESIGNER - CREATIVE - MARKETING DEPARTMENT

$63.7300 - $105.1500 /hour. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, skill level, and education.
The Principal Brand Designer - Marketing is an integral part of the Marketing team with the mission to transform and improve Healthcare. This role leads the internal brand design practice across consumer touch points. This role champions design excellence and innovation for all marketing tactics to contribute to the bigger Hoag brand. Leads the internal brand design practice. Collaborating with program management, manage internal and external creative resources and act as creative lead. Oversees the internal creative practice across print, digital, photography and video. Implements creative processes which allow for cross-functional input and executive buy-in. Collaborates closely with cross-functional marketing teams and business stakeholders to understand business goals, objectives, and user needs, and translate them into compelling designs that drive measurable outcomes. Implements foundational brand design and copy systems for brand advocacy across the organization Advises on digital product design implementation to ensure brand consistency across product lines Education and Experience
Bachelors or Masters' Degree in Design related field. Ten plus (10+) years of design experience required. Strong portfolio showcasing multi-disciplinary design capabilities. An experienced design leader that's passionate for hands-on work is required. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with experience working directly with executive teams and senior leadership in corporate environments. Hands on experience with brand identity design, brand systems, deep knowledge of user experience, and are able to iterate multiple concepts and creative solutions. Clear and concise communicator with strong organizational skills, and ability to create clear processes, while maintaining flexibility for change. Strong business acumen and ability to prioritize projects and resources based on business needs and priority shifts. Ability to cut through ambiguity on complex topics and confidently articulate concepts and present work to senior leaders and executives, and other strategic partners via clear, compelling storytelling. You have experience producing work across diverse mediums, including advertising, social media, conceptual campaigns, product launches, branding, photography, film, events, and video. Experience working on tech products or complex brand systems.
