This position will assist in executing day-to-day social media and graphic design activities. In addition, the Digital Content Coordinator will be responsible for providing content to and directly interacting with all ministry social media audiences.


PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Creates social media graphics for different ministry social media platforms
  • Support ministry social team with photography and/or videography content creation when called upon during services and special events
  • Supports team by writing copy for social media posts
  • Posts content to social media platforms
  • Helps coordinate ministry social media content calendar and schedules social media posts
  • Actively monitors activity on all ministry social media channels
  • Remain informed of current algorithms to raise social media engagement
  • Collects data and reports on the overall sentiment of our online audience
  • Generates reports on social media growth and engagement
  • When necessary, moderates live video comments, questions and prayer requests
  • Evaluates social media analytics on a monthly basis including: user engagement, web traffic and habits of our online users, suggesting ways in which we can broaden our audience.
  • Available to work after hours and off-site for events, and to moderate conversation across all social media channels


Requirements:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma is required
  • Bachelor’s degree, in Communications and/or Marketing, from an accredited university and related job experience preferred
  • Minimum 2+ years working experience in social media and/or digital marketing

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Must have excellent collaborating, writing, editing and interpersonal skills
  • Proven interest in and strong working knowledge of social media and marketing
  • Positive attitude, detail and customer service oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
  • Willingness to take initiative, think creatively and solve problems
  • Understanding of direct marketing is a plus
  • Ability to create and maintain good working relationships with ministry departments
  • Proficient with Adobe and other social media software


EQUIPMENT TO BE USED:

  • Standard office equipment
  • Laptop, ipad & iphone

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Able to lift 30lbs
  • Must be able to sit at a computer for a minimum of eight hours per day
  • Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office machines such as computers, telephone and other office equipment

  • Ability to give, receive and analyze information, formulate work plans, prepare written materials and articulate goals and action plans
  • Must be very organized and require minimal instruction

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Works in a normal office environment


OTHER:

  • Born again believer and must adhere to the doctrines of this organization as upheld by Kenneth and Gloria Copeland and their appointed representatives
  • Must work well with others, as a team and according to Romans 16:17, must not cause dissension, difficulties and divisions
  • Must maintain a good attendance record
  • Membership and attendance at EMIC are preferred
  • Because of the wide range of personal contact with ministry leaders within and outside the organization, this position requires considerable diplomacy, maturity, and excellent communication skills
