Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated, creative, and organized Creative Production Manager to oversee the creation and production of educational video content for Daniel Lubetzky’s social media channels, primarily Instagram. This role will play a critical role in advancing the mission of the Lubetzky Family Foundation to restore the cultural norms (like hearty debate, civility, and pluralism) that make democracies and capitalist societies so successful.
This role should be highly creative with a sense of humor and rare ability to turn civic subject matter into culturally-relevant, entertaining video content. This role will execute all social media content ideation and most script-writing for Daniel Lubetzky’s civic content.
As the Creative Production Manager, you will be responsible for managing our relationship with an outsourced video production team, vetting and selecting talented videographers, scriptwriters, and editors, and ensuring the seamless execution of content that amplifies Daniel’s mission-driven thought leadership. This role will be the orchestra director behind Daniel’s social media content, responsible for both strategic direction and creative execution.

Key Responsibilities:Content Strategy & Planning
- Develop and manage a dynamic content strategy to produce for a content schedule of one educational Instagram Reel and one static asset per day that aligns with Daniel Lubetzky’s mission, values, and areas of expertise (business, civics, leadership).
- Lead all creative ideation, coming up with highly creative hooks and narratives that make civic topics entertaining
- Identify relevant topics and trends in business, leadership, and social impact, collaborating with Daniel and the VP of Comms to align on key themes for content.
- Create and maintain a content calendar that supports long-term goals, including audience growth, engagement, and brand integrity and consistency.
Creative Development & Execution (Including Ideation & Scriptwriting)
- Oversee the creative process from ideation to production, ensuring each piece of content is educational, authentic, and aligns with Daniel’s voice and tone as a social entrepreneur (not a traditional influencer).
- Write and edit scripts, talking points, and captions, ensuring clarity, consistency, and a compelling narrative.
- Ensure that each video concept is original, engaging, and produced in an authentic style.
- Work closely with Daniel to record content, ensuring a smooth and efficient production process.
Production Oversight
- Direct and manage the filming process (whether remotely or in-person), ensuring high-quality video and audio content while maintaining a relaxed and organic vibe.
- Supervise video editing, ensuring content is optimized for Instagram Reels, incorporating choice effects, clean visuals, and clear messaging.
- Manage the workflow for content approval, including overseeing internal reviews and making necessary revisions based on feedback from Daniel.
Collaboration & Communication
- Directly manage and mentor the Social Media Coordinator, teaching best practices in content creation, social media strategy, and professional skills to help them grow.
- Work closely with the Social Media Coordinator to ensure a seamless content calendar, proactively planning ahead to capture key moments across Daniel’s work and the work of his organizations.
- Provide ongoing guidance and feedback to the Social Media Coordinator, ensuring the quality, consistency, and strategic alignment of all social media content.
- Collaborate with internal teams (social media managers, design, communications) and external contractors (videographers, editors, scriptwriters) to coordinate and maximize the impact of each piece of content.
Requirements
Qualifications:Experience
- 3-7 years of experience in content production, creative direction, or project management, with a strong portfolio of digital content (specifically in short-form video production).
- Proven experience in producing educational or thought leadership content, especially in the fields of business, social impact, or civics.
- Strong background in social media content creation, particularly for Instagram (Reels, Stories, Posts).
- Experience working with high-profile individuals or executives in a media/creative capacity is a plus.

- This is a full-time exempt position with a competitive annual salary of ($90,000-$120,000).
