Overview

We are actively looking for an Blown Film Extrusion Operator to join us at our state-of-the-art production facility in Collinsville, Illinois. Under general direction, the Extruder Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating our blown film extrusion machine. This position is for third shift (Monday-Friday from 11:00pm to 7:00am). Training would occur on first shift. Additional responsibilities include:

• Monitoring and recording machine temperature and making required adjustments
• Monitoring the product production and quality specifications.
• Performing set-ups, changeovers and start-ups.
• May complete light maintenance on machine when needed.

Requirements:

• High school education or equivalent.
• Prior machine operating and/or blown film extruding experience preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to follow established procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking ability.
• Problem solving skills sufficient to address both routine and non-routine problems.
• Ability to work independently.
