MEDIA DATA ANALYST

Location: Remote
Status: Full Time

We’re an All-Inclusive television advertising agency with our home base in Minneapolis. However, you can work from anywhere that works for you including cities like Chicago, Atlanta, New York, Austin, Portland and more.

ROLE OVERVIEW

This intermediate-level role, reporting to the VP of Media Analytics and plays a critical part in supporting cross-functional teams across the organization. As a Media Data Analyst, you’ll be in charge of transforming data into actionable insights that drive media strategy. You’ll work with proprietary tools, predictive models and automation to optimize TV and streaming ad buys.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating new metrics, tools, and models to inform Linear TV and Streaming buys

  • Implementing predictive modeling techniques, including machine learning and data science applications

  • Extracting key insights and trends from large datasets to drive strategic decisions

  • Supporting continued evolution of our propriety AI-powered media buying tool

  • Automating and enhancing current processes to increase efficiency

  • Working with cross-functional teams to implement data visualization (utilizing Domo, Tableau, etc.)

  • Conduct pricing efficiency analyses to maximize ad spend

  • Analyzing trends of the TV & viewership landscape

  • Providing insights from industry research​ to support strategic planning

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2+ years of data science or advanced data analytics experience, preferably in TV advertising.​

  • Experience using Excel to clean, manipulate, analyze and visualize data.​

  • Proficient programming in SQL and at least one additional programming language (R, Python, SAS, etc.)​.

  • Confidence in presenting and debating data-driven insights.

  • Expert-level skills in at least one data visualization tool (Tableau, Domo, etc.).

The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, location and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
