Job Overview:
The Marketing Director at RUDIS is a dynamic leader responsible for steering a diverse team of managers and professional staff across several distinct business units including ecommerce, custom team apparel, events, and wholesale. You will be accountable for the performance and results of these units, developing robust departmental plans, and executing strategies that align with both our current objectives and future ambitions. This role is pivotal in crafting a cohesive, innovative, and forward-looking marketing function that not only meets today's challenges but also lays the foundation for tomorrow's opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that reflect RUDIS' brand culture and long-term vision. Translate company goals into actionable departmental plans that drive measurable results and market innovation. Define clear KPIs for marketing initiatives and ensure alignment with overall business objectives. Establish standardized measurement methods for evaluating team performance and optimizing campaign impact. Integrated Business Unit Marketing:
Oversee and drive integrated marketing initiatives across multiple business units, including e-commerce, custom team apparel, events, and wholesale. Ensure cohesive branding, messaging, and execution while tailoring campaigns to meet the unique needs of each business segment. Partner with content creators and brand strategists to develop compelling, high-performing campaigns that align with sales initiatives and business goals. Team Development, Organizational Structure & Expansion:
Build and expand the marketing team, hiring and developing top talent to support company growth. Contribute to the organizational structure, ensuring marketing roles are aligned with business expansion and evolving company needs. Lead, mentor, and empower managers and professional staff to foster a high-performance, creative, and collaborative team environment. Optimize team workflows and accountability structures to improve efficiency and execution across all marketing functions. Cultivate a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and strategic thinking across all marketing disciplines. Implement behavioral metrics and standardized performance frameworks to drive excellence in execution, campaign delivery, and creative output. Operational Excellence & Performance Metrics:
Oversee the performance of multiple related units, ensuring seamless integration and synergy in campaigns and initiatives. Establish data-driven performance tracking for marketing campaigns, team output, and return on investment (ROI). Monitor and refine KPIs for marketing success, ensuring clear visibility into campaign effectiveness and business impact. Market & Consumer Insights:
Leverage market research, customer insights, and competitive analysis to inform innovative marketing strategies. Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and consumer behavior shifts to keep RUDIS at the forefront of market leadership. Utilize customer data analytics to drive personalized marketing strategies and improve engagement across all channels. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Sales Support:
Work closely with sales, product, and digital teams to create integrated campaigns that drive brand awareness and revenue growth. Align marketing strategies with brand standards, sales initiatives, and business objectives to maximize impact. Collaborate with content creators and designers to ensure all marketing efforts are compelling, engaging, and aligned with the RUDIS brand identity. Act as a key liaison between the marketing department and executive leadership, communicating strategic plans, progress, and future initiatives. Brand Stewardship & Campaign Strategy:
Uphold and elevate RUDIS' brand identity through every campaign and initiative. Champion creative storytelling and innovative approaches that resonate with our audience and set new industry standards. Standardize best practices for brand-aligned campaign execution across all marketing channels. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred. 8-10+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience in a dynamic, fast-paced industry. Proven track record of managing multi-unit operations, leading high-performance teams, and delivering strong, quantifiable business results. Exceptional strategic planning and analytical skills, with a keen ability to leverage data in decision-making. Deep understanding of both traditional and digital marketing channels.
