Marketing Design Lead
Description -
We are looking for a talented Marketing Design Lead to spearhead the development and execution of design language of HP consumer experience marketing creatives, who also specialize in motion design. This role will ensure HP consumer experience contents to have exceptionally engaging creatives at every one of its user touchpoints.
This role requires a solid foundational knowledge across the following disciplines: brand design, visual design systems, and digital marketing & advertising strategies that spans over multiple media types such as graphics, motion, video, UI and copywriting.
In addition to the mastery of visual and motion design, a keen eye for layout, typography, and storytelling, this role requires a combination of strategic thinking and vision, and cross-functional project leadership to own and drive the change through collaboration with global and regional teams.
The ability to manage the production of multiple projects, communicate efficiently with key stakeholders and process partners is essential.
Responsibilities
Drive the design concepting of content marketing/merchandising creative work.
Provide thought leadership in the assessment of ad units for engagement, visual design, content, and branding.
Define best creative practices and standards.
Collaborate with Business Developers and Project Managers to manage development of campaign assets across all marketing/merchandising touchpoints.
Establish the overarching campaign design strategy, interpreting research, and audience insights to align with content and storytelling.
Deliver fresh, premium, and best-in-class creative materials that can be applied across all consumer touchpoints.
Develop and establish design systems for scale and growth.
Qualifications
Online portfolio of work is REQUIRED.
7+ years of experience in brand design, with a proven track record of leading successful design projects from concept to launch.
Deep understanding of brand paired with a strong interest and sensibility for product experiences.
Excellent working knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere, PowerPoint, Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
Strong knowledge of Program Management tools, knowledge of Workfront a plus.
Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of articulating design vision and strategy to stakeholders at all levels.
Demonstrated ability to lead design projects from concept to implementation, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
A passion for solving complex design challenges and a drive to create holistic brand experiences.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about complex design challenges.
Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to adapt and thrive amidst changing priorities and timelines.
Strong time management skills and ability to be self-directed as needed.
Strong communication, presentation skills, and positive team collaboration is a must.
With a core creative expertise, demonstrate the ability to think broader – understand strategy to deliver big creative ideas that align with audiences, campaign goals, and executing tactically.
Ability to think, respond, and design quickly with a keen eye for details on multiple projects simultaneously.
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
The base pay range for this role is $120,550.00 - $171,750.00 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
