Product Marketing Engineer
to join our international team. The Product Marketing Engineer has technical product support, business development, sales revenue growth and marketing communication responsibility for our non-linear resistor products in the Americas region. The successful candidate will lead our efforts to design in first-class thermistor products to technology customers in the Americas in the automotive, industrial, consumer, telecommunications, and medical markets. This role is ideal for an energetic, motivated individual with electronic component industry experience, strong business marketing acumen, and excellent communications skills. This is an entry to mid-level position which provides a relevant level of influence internally and externally with other business and cross-functional teams throughout the organization.
Job Location: The position will be in our Columbus, NE facility
What you will be doing:
Manage customer design cycles to increase design-win rate and achieve year-over-year product line sales growth. Inspire teams from engineering/R&D, sales, regional marketing, and operations to collaboratively execute growth strategies. Translate technical details into compelling product promotion and effectively communicate through various channels. Assist in developing marketing strategies by product, application, and customer. What you will bring along:
Strong technical acumen to educate internal and external customers on product lines, interpret customer drawings, and offer solutions to customer problems. Ability to build strong positive working relationships and partnerships to expand the business. Proven competence in business development by analyzing market trends and competitive landscape, tracking sales, and identifying new design opportunities. Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution. Electrical or Mechanical is preferred. Minimum of 2 years of engineering design, marketing, or field sales experience; preferably with deep understanding of electronic components and their applications. Strong interest in data analytics to drive marketing strategies and business development. Familiarity with tools such as Excel or Power BI. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Willingness to travel domestic up to 20% Self-motivation and ability to take initiative with a sense of ownership. Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems preferred.
