Coordinator, AMER Marketing (Dickies)

What will you do?

A day in the life of a Marketing Coordinator at Dickies looks a little like this.

Dickies exists to champion the passion, pride and dignity of work around the world. As the Brand Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for directly supporting and contributing to the success of the Global Brand Marketing team and its various projects. You will regularly interface with cross-functional stakeholders, to include channel leads and regional counterparts, to drive alignment around key seasonal initiatives. You will support marketing strategy set forth by marketing leadership and maintain attentiveness to campaign development, including promotional story ownership, calendar and marketing plan compliance, hero product designations, performance reporting and tracking changes due to channel shifts. It is crucial that your energy and work thrives in a planning culture. Dickies is always looking for ways to improve our seasonal GTM process, from story inception to campaign execution. Your contribution and ownership within this process will be pivotal in driving increased efficiency and learning.

Let’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more.

Attend key marketing meetings and GTM milestones to capture key discussion points, next steps, and task ownership; to be distributed as a post-meeting summary.

Partner on the integrated development and delivery of Priority 3 seasonal promotional campaigns to marketing leadership and key cross functional counterparts (special attention to AMER DTC). To include marketing plan development, product alignment, shifts to seasonal strategy, creative + channel briefing, creative reviews, channel jam sessions and final creative toolkit delivery.

Successfully support marketing leadership through leveraging insights (Consumer + DTC) to improve promotional briefs.

Partner with Creative Services throughout the creative production process, ensuring thorough completion and timely delivery of Priority 3 promotional asset toolkits to key stakeholders; regional leads and channel partners.

Partner closely with Product Merchandising and DTC to accurately incorporate hero styles and key looks in product one-sheets, adjusting in response to dropped styles or strategic pivots.

Maintain launch date accuracy within the global marketing launch calendar and seasonal marketing plans. Regularly auditing and updating these documents to reflect strategic shifts and flighting.

Partner with DTC to facilitate speed-lane requests (promotions) that fall outside the seasonal story map.

Help construct all outbound promotional messaging to ensure DTC’s MAP break strategy is accurately reflected in consumer facing collateral.

Help track and deliver seasonal campaign performance reports. Partnering closely with channel partners to capture performance inputs regarding KPI’s and benchmarks for success.

What do you need to succeed?

Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 2+ years of experience and professional achievements.

The foundation skills you will need in this position are:

Must be familiar with and have a passion for the Dickies brand, specifically our line of iconic workwear

Experience working in the workwear and/or fashion lifestyle apparel industry with a rudimentary knowledge of the apparel retail space

Ability to interface with unique personalities (i.e. brand ambassadors and external agencies)

Proficient computer skills; Zoom, Wrike, Microsoft Suite; Excel, Word, PPT, Outlook

Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills

Ability to develop collaborative and diverse relationships

Ability to work with various counterparts to build seasonal strategies to support overall business initiatives and goals

Ability to work independently and acquire new knowledge as necessary for tasks or projects

Ability to manage multiple projects, set goals, and prioritize tasks

2+ years of experience

$60,480.00 USD - $75,600.00 USD annually

Incentive Potential
