Summary:

We are seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support the overall operations of our apartment community. This role includes rent collection, marketing vacant units, and performing various administrative duties. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing superior customer service, maintaining a positive attitude, and creating a welcoming and happy environment for residents.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the day-to-day operations of the apartment community, ensuring all aspects are running smoothly.
• Handle rent collection and follow-up on overdue payments.
• Market and advertise vacant units to attract new tenants.
• Provide excellent customer service to current and prospective residents.
• Maintain a positive attitude and create a welcoming community environment.
• Perform general administrative duties, including clerical work.
• Manage various office tasks, including data entry, filing, and organizing documents.
• Ensure property compliance with Tax Credit, Section 8, and HUD regulations.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in property management preferred.
• Knowledge of Tax Credit, Section 8, and HUD regulations is required.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage tenant relations.
• Marketing and closing skills to help lease vacant units.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Clerical work with some light physical requirements (e.g., filing, walking the property).
• Ability to obtain a Real Estate Salesperson License (company will cover the cost of the license)

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $20 - $22 per hour
