We are seeking a talented Data Scientist to join our growing analytics team. In this role, you will leverage your analytical and technical expertise to extract valuable insights from complex datasets, develop machine learning models, and drive data-informed decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and execute end-to-end data science projects, from problem definition to solution deployment.
  2. Develop and implement machine learning models to solve business problems and improve operational efficiency.
  3. Create and maintain data pipelines for model training and deployment.
  4. Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover patterns and trends.
  5. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  6. Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
  7. Monitor and optimize model performance.
  8. Mentor junior team members and contribute to best practices.

About the team

Our team, CreativeX Optimization, is responsible for personalizing the visual experience of ads in real time. We apply advanced machine learning and generative AI to help advertisers build, identify, and understand what ad creatives work with their audiences. We develop customized CTR and CVR prediction models to help advertisers efficiently connect with shoppers across the web. We have a broad mandate to experiment and innovate, as we seek to leapfrog the competition and impact billions of impressions daily.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of building machine learning models for business application experience.
  • PhD, or Master's degree and 4+ years of industry or academic research experience.
  • Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language.
  • Experience in any of the following areas: algorithms and data structures, parsing, numerical optimization, data mining, parallel and distributed computing, high-performance computing.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with modeling tools such as R, scikit-learn, Spark MLLib, MxNet, Tensorflow, numpy, scipy etc.
  • Experience with large scale distributed systems such as Hadoop, Spark etc.
