SUMMARY
This position supports the growth and development of both Professional & DIY Field Marketing efforts at Advance. Reporting to the Manager, Field Marketing & Sponsorships, this position will support key strategic priorities by working cross-functionally with sales, operations, merchandising, eCommerce, training, and marketing channel owners to develop and execute impactful go-to-market plans. This position will leverage data and insights to inform strategy and track impact.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Support Field Marketing & Sponsorship team in every aspect of go-to-market activities for new store openings, competitive intrusion, and other initiatives using all marketing channels and tactics available including print, digital, email, social media, promotional items, sponsorships, etc., in markets across the US & Puerto Rico.
- Collaborate & support execution of integrated campaigns to drive customer interest, consideration, acquisition, and retention through market-specific activation. Support to include utilizing all channels and tactics available and leveraging data to inform decisions.
- Responsible for tracking and forecasting budget as it relates to areas of responsibility.
- Lead meetings and presentations with field team and other departments to teach and gain alignment on programs and support plans.
- Perform regular field visits to engage store teams, support marketing activations, and gain insights that guide our marketing decisions.
- Gather inputs and directives from collaborative work groups to help build and develop programs that are effective and impactful.
- Responsible for writing marketing briefs to aid in the production of marketing materials to support key initiatives.
- Support Integrated Marketing Activities for key enterprise initiatives, including Advance, Carquest Auto Parts, and Autopart International, leveraging all appropriate channels to support the needs of the business.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Highly proficient with MS Office software - intermediate Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to plan and manage time and resources, establish priorities, and meet goals.
- Ability to develop and manage projects from conception to execution.
- Ability to communicate and influence at various levels within the organization and cross-functionally.
- Shows a passion for work and the energy to perform at a high level.
- Up to 15% overnight travel.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field, and 2-4 years related experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
