We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join our team. This role is crucial in supporting our marketing endeavors and ensuring the success of our internal and external events and activities. The Marketing Coordinator will assist the Client Events and Employee Engagement teams in various marketing projects and activities, including event coordination, project management and administrative duties. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work efficiently under minimal supervision. Ideally, this position would be located in our Columbia office, with some flexibility regarding a hybrid schedule.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Employee Engagement: Support office events, such as happy hours, lunches and holiday parties; work with other offices to provide event support and coordination; implement the firm’s charitable giving program and work with firm programs.
  • Internal Communications: Assist with office event invitations and signage, internal newsletters and intranet communications.
  • Client Events: Coordinate client mail-outs and resources; assist with hotel reservations, catering orders and inventory management; support event planning efforts and serve as backup for client webinars.
  • Administrative Tasks: Organize administrative paperwork, inventory marketing resources and manage the MGC swag store inventory.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business-related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of related work experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with an emphasis in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with graphic design and photo editing programs, such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite, required.
