Bring your passion for engaging with a community on social media to the Credit Union. We are seeking a creative self-starter to become the driving force behind our social media presence. In this role, you will be responsible for turning ideas into videos, reels, images, infographics, and text captions. This will involve hands-on creative design/writing, photography, behind-the-camera recording, video editing, and even being an on-camera host.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Create various forms of social media content that is suitable for various social media platforms and aligns with our brand voice - text captions, videos, reels, and image. Comfortable being in front of the camera is a MUST! Content includes engaging lifestyle and animated content for both organic posts and paid social ads.
- Work together with the marketing team to design preferred platform participation, including analysis of Facebook, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, Instagram, Trends, or others.
- Travel to Credit Union branches and events as needed to capture video, images, and engaging moments for social.
- Maintain a dynamic social media calendar that aligns with our strategic initiatives and publish posts accordingly.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure that every piece of content is relevant and fosters growth and brand awareness. Will also collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support social strategies.
- Stay abreast of social media trends, curating content that resonates with our target audience. Conduct research on industry-related topics to ensure accuracy and relevance of content. Create and edit video content for use on a variety of digital channels.
- Produce monthly reports on social media performance, analyzing posts, and paid advertisements.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Three years to five years of similar or related experience.
- (1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g., information technology certifications in lieu of a degree).
- Proficiency with social media platforms, trends, and hashtags.
- Knowledge of social media engagement strategies and analytics.
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, Hootsuite, or similar social media, video editing, and creative apps/software.
- Excellent writing, communication, and proofreading skills.
- Ability to turn a concept into compelling content.
- Ability to incorporate our brand voice and identity in digital content.
- Strong collaborative skills coupled with the ability to work independently.
- Financial product and service knowledge desired.
- Hybrid/remote work schedule. Primary location is the Pleasanton Corporate office. Travel throughout Alameda County as needed.
