Who we are looking for

Purpose

The Senior Manager, Brand Communications, US AIR and CARE, will lead in transforming how the world sees Chiesi’s AIR and CARE portfolios in the United States, by elevating awareness of our innovations and critical disease states. This role offers a chance to shine as the primary communication expert on the AIR and CARE Business Unit teams. You will craft and execute bold, creative, and insights-driven communication strategies that drive our business objectives.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead Communications for US AIR and CARE: Serve as the communications lead for US AIR and CARE. Provide expert counsel on communications opportunities and manage communications agency partner teams.
  • Execute the Communications Strategy: Develop integrated communications strategies for AIR portfolio launches and implement tactical program execution.
  • Lead Content Development: Develop content strategy plans and communications materials for the US AIR and CARE business units.
  • Manage Media Engagements: Cultivate relationships with journalists and serve as the spokesperson for the AIR/CARE business units.
  • Measure Results: Establish measurement frameworks for BU communications initiatives and report results.
  • Budgetary Management: Manage the brand communications budget and execute tactics within budgetary requirements.
Experience Required

Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Track record of creative thinking grounded in data to drive measurable results.
  • Experience executing integrated communication strategies with defined metrics.
  • Experience in media relations and knowledge of emerging communications channels.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across all functions.
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Cary, NC.
  • Willing and able to travel (approx. 20%).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years of agency or in-house pharmaceutical communications experience.
  • Previous pharmaceutical launch brand experience.
Education

Required: Bachelor’s degree and 4-6 years of experience in public relations, communications, journalism, advertising, or marketing.

Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in public relations, journalism, or related fields; advanced degree a plus.
