The MarTech Product team is dedicated to creating a connected tech ecosystem that delivers a real-time overview of plans, budgets, resources, and performance metrics. Within this group, the Planning and Workflow Management team is focused on developing and integrating a tech-enabled system that drives efficient, scalable, and transparent marketing operations across the Marketing organization.

We are seeking a Director, Product Management – Marketing Workflow Management to lead this transformative effort, shaping the tools and processes that enhance the way our Marketing teams collaborate, plan, and execute.

Product Teams at Target Corporation are accountable for the delivery of business outcomes enabled through technology and analytic products that are easy to use, easily maintained, and highly reliable.

You will be accountable for building, coaching, and mentoring a strong team of product managers while also building a strong team culture of progress, transparency, and efficiency across Product teams.

As the Director, Product Management – Marketing Workflow Management, you will be responsible for defining and driving the vision, strategy, and roadmap for marketing workflow management tools, ensuring real-time insights into plans, budgets, resourcing, and performance metrics while aligning marketing workflows with enterprise goals.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for marketing workflow management tools that optimize the entire Marketing ecosystem.
  2. Identify and address pain points in existing workflows, designing scalable solutions to automate and streamline processes.
  3. Ensure seamless integration of planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and real-time project tracking features.
  4. Establish clear checkpoints for reviews and approvals to maintain quality and consistency.
  5. Partner closely with marketing, creative, and operational leaders to align product goals with stakeholder needs.
  6. Drive adoption of new tools and systems, ensuring they deliver tangible value to the Marketing organization.
  7. Develop feedback loops and analytics capabilities to continuously improve workflow tools.
  8. Stay at the forefront of industry trends and emerging technologies in marketing workflow management.

About you:

  1. Four-year degree or equivalent experience
  2. 10+ years of product management experience, with a focus on marketing operations, workflow optimization, or MarTech.
  3. Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives and managing product roadmaps.
  4. Strong understanding of marketing processes, workflow management tools, and automation technologies.
  5. Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders.
  6. Passion for staying ahead of trends in marketing technologies and implementing forward-thinking solutions that enhance team performance.

This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs.
