As a Staff Structural Designer, you will develop innovative plans and create detailed, non-routine drawings for a wide array of projects and clients. This role offers you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across diverse initiatives while utilizing your structural design skills. Collaborate with some of the industry's leading clients and help shape the future of structural design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and create detailed drawings from verbal instructions and intricate sketches under direction of an engineer.
  • Implement project drafting standards and protocols to draft wiring diagrams, produce control schematics and equipment connection diagrams.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to grasp project requirements and validate design details, ensuring alignment with company standards and industry best practices.
  • Deliver a diverse array of drawing production tasks such as layout design, problem analysis, detailing, and drafting for projects of considerable complexity and variety.
  • Perform drafting activities alongside designers and drafters from various disciplines.
  • Uphold proficiency in Revit and CAD, actively striving to master the latest versions and features of these systems.
  • Collaborate with internal design teams as well as external clients.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as needed to support team objectives and project goals.
  • Adhere to all company policies and standards, ensuring compliance.


Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's or Associates degree in Drafting Technology or a related field with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience or equivalent design experience.
  • An advanced understanding of design software, including Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, Navisworks, and Excel, is essential for developing high-quality design deliverables.
  • Advanced proficiency in utilizing both 2D and 3D applications to create detailed engineering drawings.
  • High-level knowledge in design, calculations, and design systems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
