We're looking for a growth-obsessed Lifecycle Marketing Manager, responsible for optimising and delivering lifecycle marketing and automations globally. Working alongside the Marketing team and wider business, you will collaborate across functions to ensure the lifecycle strategy meets the needs of the rapidly growing business.
Reporting to the Head of Email & Lifecycle you will be responsible for managing lifecycle automations in HubSpot, using technical knowledge and skills to enable the delivery best-in-class marketing across channels, throughout the funnel. You will work closely with the Email Marketing Manager to support and enable technical aspects of email marketing.

You will also have the responsibility of working with colleagues across Marketing to deliver email signatures as a channel in integrated marketing campaigns. Key Responsibilities
- Manage lifecycle marketing automations - Oversee the development, implementation, and optimisation of automated lifecycle marketing campaigns in HubSpot, ensuring alignment with overall marketing objectives and optimized for customer engagement and conversion at every stage of the funnel.
- Technical implementation - Use technical knowledge in HubSpot to support the execution of lifecycle marketing initiatives, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to ensure seamless campaign delivery and an optimal customer experience.
- Collaboration with Email Marketing - Work closely with the Email Marketing Manager to support the technical aspects of email campaigns, from template creation and customization to segmentation and personalisation strategies, ensuring alignment with broader lifecycle marketing goals.
- Deliver email signatures as a marketing channel - Be an expert in using our product, working with the wider Marketing team to set up, deploy and optimise email signatures for integrated campaigns, ensuring compliance and best practice, to make signatures a value- and growth-driving touchpoint in the customer journey.
- Cross-functional collaboration - Collaborate with Content, Demand Generation, Product, Sales, Channel and Customer teams to align lifecycle marketing initiatives with broader company objectives, actively seeking out opportunities to deliver a more cohesive customer experience across touchpoints.
- Drive channel innovation and best practices - Identify and implement automations and lifecycle marketing best practices, staying up to date with emerging trends and tools to ensure the company leverages the latest and most effective strategies.
- Performance Tracking and Reporting - Recommend and deliver againstKPIs and metrics to evaluate the performance of lifecycle marketing campaigns, providing regular insights and recommendations for optimisation to stakeholders.
- Experimentation and Testing - Design and run A/B tests and other experiments to continuously optimize lifecycle automations, email signature impact, and other marketing channels within the lifecycle strategy, driving improvements based on data-driven insights.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Experience in a dynamic, high-growth environment - 5+ years of experience in marketing automation, lifecycle marketing or email marketing within a fast-paced, growth-oriented company. B2B SaaS experience is a big plus but not a requirement.
- Expertise in Marketing Automation Platforms - Proficient in designing, building, and optimising automations within marketing platforms such as HubSpot or similar Marketing Automation Platform (required) and experience with SendGrid (a plus). Must have hands-on experience creating and managing automations that drive customer engagement throughout the funnel.
- Curious, analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities - Excellent analytical skills with a focus on seeking out opportunities to use automations for optimisation and experimentation, and an ability to turn insights into actionable strategies.
- HTML coding and troubleshooting skills - Strong understanding of HTML and CSS for email design coding and de-bugging, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly, ensuring high-quality, visually appealing campaigns in every inbox.
- Proficiency in automation tools (e.g. Zapier) - Skilled in using third-party automation tools like Zapier to create integrations and automate workflows, enhancing operational efficiency and connecting various marketing tools and data sources.
- Advanced Excel and data management skills - Highly skilled in Excel, capable of handling complex data sets from multiple sources, performing data analysis, and using pivot tables, V/XLOOKUPs, and other functions to support data-driven marketing strategies.
- Knowledge of SQL (preferred) - Familiarity with SQL (or similar) for data querying and manipulation to enable more in-depth analysis and connection of customer data to optimise segmentation and personalisation efforts.
- Understanding of AI in Marketing - Enthusiastic about leveraging AI as a co-creation partner, with passionate curiosity as to how AI tools can support automation and process design, personalisation, customer segmentation, and campaign performance analysis.
- Collaborative and highly organised - A team player who works effectively across departments, quickly building trust-based relationships to enable effective collaboration, with strong organisational skills to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders.
- Understanding of email marketing best practice, GDPR and other global privacy and data regulations - A deep understanding and respect for compliance, accessibility, deliverability, data privacy best practice is a non-negotiable in this role.
