About the Position

The Marketing Technology Manager utilizes both existing and emerging technologies to develop and maintain systems and processes for collecting, safeguarding, and leveraging client and prospect relationship data. This role is responsible for implementing and managing comprehensive data processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and usability within the firm's CRM and related integrated components. This position is currently a hybrid role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Manage and administer the firm's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Enterprise Relationship Manager (ERM) systems:
  • Manage day-to-day functionality including: data quality, upgrades and maintenance, identifying opportunities for optimization and workflow enhancements, data storage and organization, user access, and provide and train our new and existing users on best practice usage.
  • Develop and deliver reports and insights from CRM data to inform business decisions and client development strategies.
  • Manage lists and list management processes in collaboration with our events and marketing team.
  • Manage reporting process (out-of-the box availability, as well as facilitating access to custom reports) for business development data.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Supervise contracted data entry personnel.
  • Manage integrations points between marketing systems to help enforce process improvement and efficient workflows.
  • Oversee the integration between CRM and related integrated components, such as our ERM and email marketing software.

Manage and administer the Business Development and Marketing Technology platforms:
  • Guide Experience Management System (Foundation) data collection and campaigns and introduce new capabilities for the purpose of meeting emerging business needs and market trends.
  • Develop and maintain ancillary tools to assist in data driven decisions. These include PowerBi reports and dashboards, Power Apps, and data augmentation and integrations such as enrichment platforms.
  • Develop and present post-campaign analytics to stakeholders, including data driven insights and recommendations for strategy improvement.
  • Develop and maintain the strategic marketing technology road map; responsible for scoping and recommending new marketing technology solutions.
  • Manage user accounts and permissions.
  • Manage vendor relationships and track contracts.
  • Collaborate and serve as a liaison between the IT and BD & Marketing departments.
  • Develop and create strategies to best use project management software and dashboards in Smartsheet.
  • Attend designated training to become an expert in these systems and processes.

Qualifications
  • Experience administering CRM and ERM systems, preferably Interaction and/or HubSpot.
  • Experience researching, identifying, and deploying new technology.
  • Experience working with complex relational data management systems.
  • Experience with SharePoint, Smartsheet, and PowerBI preferred.
  • Strong ability to understand and communicate technical information to others.
  • Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong customer service skills, including anticipation of needs and sound judgment.
  • Exceptional project management, organizational, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical thinking, and ability to suggest appropriate solutions.
  • Ability to collaborate with individuals at all levels and work effectively within the Business Development and Marketing Department.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and positive with a strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and in a team.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, tact, and discretion in professional settings.
  • Flexibility to travel, attend events, and to work extended hours to meet deadlines and business needs.
  • Outgoing and externally focused with a strong desire to connect with attorneys and clients to promote the firm and its brand. Experience guiding attorneys in the development of primary marketing tools.
  • Proven creativity, conceptual skills, and resourcefulness, with the ability to assess and act on the effectiveness of new and existing initiatives through surveys, statistical analyses, and other tools.

Education and/or Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Programming, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 7 years of experience executing/managing technology solutions in a marketing or business development environment, preferably in a professional services industry

Compensation

Allen Matkins is an Equal Opportunity Employer and offers a competitive compensation & benefits package. The anticipated base salary range for this full-time role is $125,000 - $165,000 per year. Actual salary will depend upon a number of factors, including, but not limited to, relevant experience, job-related skills, qualifications, and location.

The base salary range displayed on the job posting reflects the estimated range for new hire salaries for the position. The actual offered base salary will be determined by work location and additional factors, including, but not limited to, relevant experience, job-related skills and qualifications. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external business factors.
