Position Overview

As a B2B Digital Media Strategist at Coastline Equipment, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's marketing efforts by developing and executing content strategies that engage and inform our target audience. This position requires a blend of creativity, strategy, and data-driven insight to produce compelling content across multiple platforms. You will collaborate closely with various teams to support lead generation, customer engagement, and brand visibility, all while advancing Coastline Equipment's marketing goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Content Strategy Development: Design and implement content strategies aligned with overall marketing objectives to enhance lead generation and brand presence.
  • Content Creation: Produce high-quality content, including blog posts, customer stories, newsletters, social media posts, and podcast series, to engage and inform our audience.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct research to stay ahead of industry trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape. Use marketing analytics to assess content performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • SEO Optimization: Ensure all content is optimized for SEO to improve search engine rankings and increase organic traffic to our digital platforms.
  • Social Media Management: Oversee Coastline Equipment's social media presence across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter, ensuring that content is engaging, timely, and aligned with marketing strategies.
  • Collaboration and Coordination: Work cross-functionally with the marketing and sales teams to create content that supports lead generation and sales efforts. Assist in planning and executing digital campaigns and promotional events.
  • Creative Development: Contribute fresh ideas for advertising campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand identity and messaging.
Required Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. Additional certifications such as Google Analytics are a plus.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in digital media marketing, content creation, or a similar B2B role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in content management systems (CMS), social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.), and digital marketing tools. Familiarity with graphic design software is an asset.
  • Soft Skills: Strong writing, editing, and proofreading abilities, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Media Knowledge: Solid understanding of SEO best practices, social media trends, and marketing analytics tools.
Preferred Experience
  • Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in the heavy machinery, construction, or equipment industry is highly preferred.
  • Budgeting: Experience managing budgets for paid social media campaigns and optimizing spend for maximum ROI.
Work Environment
  • Location: This position is based at our corporate headquarters in Long Beach, CA.
  • Physical Demands: Primarily office-based, involving extended periods of sitting and computer use. Occasional standing and movement between office areas may be required.
Reporting Structure

This position will report to the Marketing Director and work closely with the sales and marketing teams. There are no direct reports for this position.
