Job Summary

Provide online, classroom and lab instruction in course competencies for Kinesiology students in alignment with the standards of the National Association for Sport and Physical Education (NASPE) for Associate Level students. The kinesiology program (exercise science option) leads to employment opportunities in the athletics, sports and fitness industries, as well as professional programs in health fields such as Physical Therapy, Physician's Assistant, Occupational Therapy, Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmacy. These duties include the evaluation & supervision of students, working collaboratively with faculty and staff and completing professional development requirements.

Job Duties:
•Provide KHP instruction for online, in the classroom & laboratory settings.
•Demonstrate current knowledge required by curriculum for KHP based on the National Association for Sport and Physical Education (NASPE) for Associate Level students through in person or virtual lecture on a weekly basis.
•Provide hands on instruction and demonstration to KHP students in a group setting in person and online.
•Work collaboratively with faculty & staff to provide education, evaluation & supervision to students.
•Complete required professional development training required of adjunct faculty.
•Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Health Services OR Exercise Science or course related field
    OR
  • Master's Degree in any field AND 18 graduate hours of courses in Health Services or Exercise Science or course related field


Additional Skills Requested:
•Knowledge of the standards of the National Association for Sport and Physical Education (NASPE).
•Knowledge of Blackboard Ultra
