The Sr Director, Marketing is responsible for developing and implementing strategic messaging and marketing plans aligned with company objectives across product marketing, brand marketing, channel marketing, digital marketing, public relations, and communications. This role, which reports into the CRO, leads global teams to generate qualified leads, analyze data to optimize marketing spend, and increase customer engagement and advocacy. Partnering with sales leadership, the Sr Director Marketing identifies opportunities for growing market share by defining new routes to market. Responsibilities:
Create and execute a global marketing strategy/plan that drives awareness and aligns to the pipeline, revenue targets, product marketing, and brand strategy. Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute a comprehensive global marketing and messaging strategy encompassing public relations, social, brand marketing, product marketing, and communications strategies. Identify marketing, sales, and channel enablement requirements and gather feedback on marketing activities. Create marketing and communication plans tailored to support company priorities, incorporating key messages and content to maximize positive exposure and enhance brand awareness in core and growth markets. Manage a program for Marketing teams to effectively engage customers and stakeholders by communicating our product and brand messaging. Manage global and regional marketing budgets and program prioritization. Amplify the voice of the company through proactive outreach initiatives aimed at securing media coverage and increasing market awareness. Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for strategic partnerships, sponsorships, and speaking engagements to further promote Promethean's brand and mission. Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform communication strategies and adapt messaging accordingly. Measure and analyze the effectiveness of efforts through key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics, providing regular reports to leadership. Ensure that creative teams know what they need to create to meet brand and business objectives. Holds a key role in the planning and development of go-to-market brand storytelling campaigns and a global calendar which defines marketing priorities. Drive creative workstreams with the internal creative team to bring the strategy to life visually. Works cross-functionally on the development of campaigns aligning to campaign strategy. Manages the relationship with agencies responsible for public relations and media-related communication activities to ensure positive, proactive messaging.
