Are you an organized, detail-oriented professional with experience in property management? Do you thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment? If so, we invite you to apply for the Assistant Community Manager position with Full Circle Communities, Inc.; at Torrence Place and Lansing South Apartments.
This position is part of a “management team”, which may require rotation between all properties in the region, including: Brainerd Park, Brainerd Senior Center, and South Park Plaza.
As an Assistant Community Manager, you'll be an integral part of our property management team, supporting the Community Manager and stepping in when they’re unavailable. You’ll assist with everything from financial oversight and compliance to resident relations and maintenance coordination. Your role will involve collecting and posting rent, approving invoices, and assisting with budgeting. You’ll also help ensure compliance with financing sources like HUD, Section 42, and other programs, while keeping property records organized and up to date.
Beyond administrative work, you’ll oversee curb appeal, advertising efforts, and leasing performance. Ensuring vacant units are ready for new residents will be a key part of your responsibilities. You’ll work closely with maintenance teams and contractors to make sure repairs and service requests are completed promptly. Resident relations will also be a big focus—building positive connections, managing lease renewals, and addressing concerns will be central to your day-to-day work.
We’re seeking someone with at least a high school diploma (or equivalent) and one year of experience in multifamily property management. You should be comfortable using Microsoft Word and Excel, possess strong communication skills, and have a high level of organization and attention to detail. Since you’ll be handling financial transactions and rental collections, assertiveness is key. A Tax Credit Certification (or willingness to obtain one within 120 days of hire) is also required.
While not required, a bachelor’s degree and at least two years of experience managing staff and overseeing all aspects of property management would be ideal. If you have an Accredited Residential Manager (ARM) Certification, that’s a plus!
The Company offers a competitive hourly range of $23.00 - $24.00, plus an excellent benefits package including health, dental, vision, life, Simple IRA, PTO, paid parental leave, accident and critical illness, short- and long-term disability, and more.
This is an opportunity to be part of a collaborative and supportive team that values professional growth. You’ll play a meaningful role in creating a positive living experience for residents while developing your career in property management. If this sounds like the right fit for you, apply today!
