COMPANY OVERVIEW: Zentalis® Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing azenosertib (ZN-c3), a potentially first-in-class and best-in-class WEE1 inhibitor for patients with Cyclin E1+ platinumresistant ovarian cancer (PROC). Azenosertib is being evaluated as a monotherapy and in combination across multiple tumor types in clinical trials and has broad franchise potential. In clinical trials, azenosertib has been well tolerated and has demonstrated anti-tumor activity as a single agent across multiple tumor types. The Company is also leveraging its extensive experience and capabilities to translate its science to advance research on additional areas of opportunity for azenosertib outside PROC.

JOB SUMMARY: The Vice President of Investor Relations and Corporate Communications will be responsible for engaging key stakeholders to build awareness and education on Zentalis's strategy to advance its lead clinical asset azenosertib, a potentially first-in-class and best-in-class Wee1 inhibitor, for patients with Cyclin E1+ platinum-resistant ovarian cancer and other solid tumor indications. This functional leader will report directly to the Chief Business Officer and work closely with the executive team to establish and execute on a successful engagement strategy and plan that communicates the Company's business objectives and major corporate activities to all key stakeholders, including the investment community, media, and employees. He/she will manage all external and internal communications, including investor relations, media and public relations, social media, and employee communications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Design and execute a comprehensive investor relations and corporate communications strategy and plan that proactively positions and ensures a clear understanding of the Company's strategy and plans, growth potential, competitive position, operational performance, and value to stakeholders. • Act as the primary point of contact for the investment community and media, addressing inquiries and providing timely and accurate information to establish a reputation as a key go to resource for the Street on all things related to Zentalis. • Utilize internal and external communication channels to ensure consistent, timely flow of information about Zentalis to the company's stakeholders, including the investment community. • Track and report the Company's shareholder activity and sell-side analyst reporting, while identifying and targeting key potential new investors and analysts to educate on the Company. • Partner with CEO and other executives to manage investor calls, conferences, road shows and one-on-one meetings, including preparing presentation decks, scripts, Q&A. • Manage the preparation of press releases, corporate website updates, social media, and other external corporate communication materials. • Partner with CEO and other executives to manage internal communications keep employees updated on corporate activities and accomplishments, and for awareness and alignmenttowards a united mission and strategy. • Key participant of the scientific/medical publication review committee. • Lead and develop employees and external vendors along with the annual department budget to successfully meet group objectives.

EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES REQUIRED: • 8+ years' experience in biotechnology or pharmaceutical industries with direct experience leading investor relations and corporate communications at a public traded company. • A Bachelor's degree related to finance, communications, business or a related field Proven track record and ability to build and maintain relationships with sell side analysts and buy side investors. • Sound business judgment and instincts when assessing stakeholder needs, corporate messaging and positioning. • In-depth knowledge of IR/PR best practices, financial markets, SEC regulations, public company reporting requirements, including Regulation Fair Disclosure. • Experience in managing and overseeing contract IR/PR agencies and vendors. • Effectively work cross functionally to achieve goals and objectives. • Excellent attention to details. • Communicate clearly and drive discussions to effective and actionable conclusions. • Thorough knowledge of MS Office products. • Has demonstrated success within a fast-paced environment
