The Senior Graphic Designer's job is to promote AFS' retailers and vendors using creative, attention-grabbing, visual design, to create customer-focused print and digital media that builds their respective brand(s) and sells their products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide the concept and design of print/digital marketing materials, including store signage, packaging and more. Assist in the design and execution of email, web, and social campaigns. Follow through with the marketing team, from pre-press to digital re-purposing. Responsible for collaboration, brainstorming, and coordination among various points of contact, including retailers, vendor clients and fellow team members, to drive design projects from start to finish. Perform other related duties as assigned or requested. POSITION REQUIREMENTS Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite software such as Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc. Working knowledge of Office 365, Teams, Planner, OneDrive. An associate degree in graphic design or equivalent experience is preferred. Three years of experience in ad agency or in-house art department, working in all aspects of graphic design. Working knowledge of digital, web and broadcast design, and print production requirements. Working knowledge of Mac computer. Experience with the Microsoft suite is required; including Teams, Excel, Word and Outlook. Web design/UX/UI and coding skills are a plus. Must be skilled in art and design concepts to make visually appealing communication that represents the brand(s) being promoted. Must be organized and work well under short deadlines while collaborating with customers in a professional way. Must be reliable, self-motivated and a great communicator. Ability to visually adapt design and evolve brand marketing to a diverse audience. Knowledge of utilizing AI tools, dynamic data flow, and prototyping in the design process is a strong plus. Able to manage work flow independently and with others.
