General Position Summary

The Sr. Graphic Designer will create beautiful, integrated, and effective designs for our brand. They will report directly to the Marketing Creative Director. They have a strong background in visual communication, graphic design with a solid working knowledge of execution and development in an e-commerce and retail environment. They will also collaborate with different departments and individuals to help clearly articulate marketing tactics.

RESPONSIBILITIES • Design, produce, and update printed and digital marketing collateral such as brochures, banners, graphics, signage, web graphics, web mockups and wireframes, landing page templates, event booth graphics and materials • Apply industry best practices to assignments and able to follow brand guidelines and keep all marketing consistent across multiple platforms such as website, events, email and advertising • Identify and educate yourself on important industry themes and topics • Create and implement into designs, compelling, impactful headlines and calls-to-action • Lead the marketing team in design projects and areas, and collaborate cross-functionally with E-commerce and Logistics team, to achieve goals and project milestones and meet deadlines • Translate business and marketing objectives into designs that are clear, compelling, and visually engaging • Create designs for Cases for Causes program and new cases

DIGITAL • Produce ongoing mockups and wireframes for E-commerce and implement landing pages per marketing campaigns and web improvements • Manage the collections dashboard and implement any necessary new collections digital assets onto site • Execute, produce, and schedule ongoing email designs for email marketing, Mailchimp platform • Edit and produce copy-writing for all design aspects on quality, consistency, clarity, brevity, accuracy, and readability, especially for e-commerce and digital • Support E-commerce team in color swatch creations and continual feedback on bug fixes • Proactivity in suggesting improvements and implementing necessary changes on E-commerce • Design and optimize web pages per device, copywriting for web pages, bug fixes, process improvement, maintaining collection assets / pages, product naming • Connect online with in store experience • Track effectiveness of website speed, bounce rate, SEO • On-time delivery of landing pages with mockups and assets • Manage All Collections Dashboard • Lead design for email marketing, copywrit for subject line and body, testing emails, A-B testing, coding / designing templates, utilize store management excel doc for featured frames • Manage and report on Email marketing analysis • Manage and report on Top Page analysis for bounce rate • Create Event Coupons Collateral • Create Demos on how to setup any new packaging with logistics team • Manage project planning: use Asana efficiently (assign people to correct tasks, finish tasks by due date or provide update to stakeholders if pushed back so can reassess timelines, respond efficiently to tasks assigned)

STORE/PRINT • Proactive and consistent in finding improvements and process efficiency for all marketing campaigns and store collateral, to make sure the customer experience is great and consistent between store and e-commerce • Design, implement, and assist in shipping of all store marketing collateral, including signage, POPs, and VMD • Create and implement store front facing collateral including storefront posters and design of window displays • Design ongoing coupons for field marketing events and campaigns, including Influencer Marketing • Design barricade and store collateral for any new store openings • Assist with Store Happiness initiative in creation of staff and HQ t-shirts on a bi-annual basis, our annual birthday events, and internal team events with any design necessary • Perform POP "Audit" (Score) for all stores at least once per quarter to ensure all marketing aligned with current messaging • Ensure all stores maintain same look/feel, cleanliness; VMDs, Store Fixtures, Storefront Posters • Complete Email marketing • Oversee printing and shipment of marketing collateral to all stores. • Ensure that we're under-budget for print on campaigns. • Help initiate new store marketing launch campaigns and prep store briefings for store ops on any design-related items • Collaborating with Logistics department on recurring print items • Customer process improvements via POPs and collateral • Manage project planning: use Asana efficiently (assign people to correct tasks, finish tasks by due date or provide update to stakeholders if pushed back so can reassess timelines, respond efficiently to tasks assigned)

Qualifications

In order for an individual to perform the essential functions of the job, he/she must possess the following qualifications.

EDUCATION

Associate degree or at least some postsecondary education preferred

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE • Degree in Graphic Design or related field • 1 year of graphic design work and experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, expert knowledge of Photoshop • Knowledge of digital optimization across screen sizes and devices • Ability to present concepts and designs to stakeholders in a clear, concise manner and manage project feedback and flow • Proven ability to work independently and manage a workload of multiple projects in order to meet deadlines efficiently • Experience with responsive websites, email, print, environmental (trade shows) and creative branding work
