The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, building, and delivering frontend applications that are used in marketing, sales, and general business operations.

This is a 100% on-site position in Birmingham, AL and is only available to US citizens or current green card holders. What You'll Do

Design, develop, and maintain front-end applications. Developing and maintaining sites built with WordPress. Designing mockups independently or in collaboration with a graphic designer. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver software solutions. Test, debug, and optimize front-end applications. Create documentation for application features and processes. Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends. What You Need Bachelor's degree in computer science, software development, web development, management information systems, or a related field. Work or internship experience in software development or a portfolio of impressive software development projects. Ability to quickly learn and utilize new skills, programming languages, frameworks, and platforms. Ability to create responsive web applications that provide a good user experience across devices and browsers. Proficiency with JavaScript and/or TypeScript. Proficiency with HTML and CSS. Hands-on experience with frontend frameworks such as Angular, React, Svelte, and/or Vue. Experience creating user-friendly and visually appealing web applications. Writing tests for software applications (unit, integration, and end-to-end testing). Experience using Git for version control. Familiarity with common design patterns and programming paradigms. Proven ability to build and deliver software applications. Ability to create and implement designs that adhere to WCAG, web accessibility guidelines, and general best practices. Strong understanding of secure coding and application deployment practices. Ability to communicate with colleagues clearly and effectively. Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with Next.js or other server-rendered frameworks. Proficiency with one or more backend languages or frameworks. Familiarity with any other CMS and front-end frameworks. Proficiency with PHP. Proficiency with SQL and database management.
