Summary: We are seeking experienced designers with 5+ years of experience in an agency or consultancy environment. The ideal candidate will be self-directed and have a strong ability to recognize patterns, while also demonstrating excellent synthesis skills. A key responsibility will be applying and creating design patterns to solve complex problems effectively.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Create highly effective user-focused experiences and interfaces across a variety of environments (mobile, web apps, dashboards, etc.) Create and maintain design documentation including wireframes, user flows, information architecture, and interaction design Collaborate with a wide range of staff members to develop concepts into features during the software development lifecycle Create and demonstrate interactive prototypes, and validate designs with product team, stakeholders, and users Collaborate with other team members to understand customer needs and interpret them into design elements Stay up to date on industry and user experience trends, best practices, and technology and promote them within the larger UX team.
Skills:
Proficient in Figma Expert skill in Photoshop and be fluent in Illustrator, OmniGraffle, or other creative wireframes A working knowledge of XHTML/CSS. A verifiable portfolio of web application design, including great web interfaces is preferred.
Daily Responsibilities:
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and align expectations. Work closely with stakeholders to develop and refine the UI toolkit. Identify and explore upsell opportunities. Take a self-directed approach to design and development tasks. Continuously build and enhance design systems and UI components.
Top 3 must-have hard skills:
Excellent visual design skills High level of craft, polish around craft Experience with product design
Nice to Have:
Experience with building design systems or patterns, experience in consulting and/or working with partners Years of Experience: 5+ Degrees or Certifications: Experience preferred
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $50.00-$55.00 per hour. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience and the benefits package you select. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages. Packages may include medical, dental, and vision benefits, 10 paid days off, 401(k) plan participation, commuter benefits and life and disability insurance.
