The successful candidate is expected to accomplish the following outcomes during the first year in the position:
Formally track all tasks, to include: assigned by, suspense, status, and comments on all assigned tasks through completion and be prepared to brief upon request. Develop digital continuity folders and files that include standard operating procedures, workflows and POC lists to accomplish all tasks. Create 2-3 products beyond the client's requirements that positively impact the client to either increase efficiency, effectiveness, or innovation. Master position tasks within 60 days and exceed requirements within 90 days. Responsibilities:
A Web Developer provides design and development of visualization/web applications for CDM, contributing to all aspects of the product development and release life cycle. The Web Developer utilizes Microsoft technologies such as ASP.NET, SharePoint, Dynamics, BixTalk, etc. The Web Developer shall develop solutions based on .NET platform using C# and VB.NET with a thorough understanding of relational database design and optimization. The Web Developer shall provide all aspects of the software development process including requirements gathering, design, implementation, debugging, and testing. The Web Developer develops visualization web applications for mission critical projects (RR #40) and develops visualization/web applications based on principles and methodologies of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). Per PWE section 1.3.4.5, specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
With collaboration with Government stakeholders, develop expert, innovative web solutions for complex problem sets that create efficiencies, effectiveness and visualization of the desired messaging, and develop web measures to establish effectiveness of solutions. Design, develop, and maintain secure and responsive web applications and websites. Implement web-based solutions to support communication, information sharing, and collaboration. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop user-friendly interfaces. Implement content management systems (CMS) and database integration for web platforms Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of we applications and interfaces. Provide web analytics and performance monitoring for continuous improvement. Stay up-to-date with web development trends, technologies, and best practices. Salary Range: $109,000 - $119,000

MA/MS + 5 years of experience (or BA/BS plus an additional 4 years of work-related experience) Expertise in web programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks Experience with web security practices, including Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) implementation and Knowledge of web content management systems (CMS) such as Drupal, WordPress, or Familiarity with web accessibility standards. Understanding of web design principles and use experience (UX) best practices. Ability to work within agile development methodologies and version control systems. Experience in integrating web application with backend systems and databases. Experience with security protocols and best practices when working with sensitive data on web platforms.
