You inspire, engage, and collaborate with the studio, with teams across Samsung, with executive stakeholders, and with outside agencies. You report to the Head of Global UX Studio.Position Responsibilities:Strategic creative leadershipDraw from user insights, technological capabilities, and business needs to recognize strategic opportunities, proactively pitch new ideas, and own experience concept development, from ideation to executionLead the planning and strategic exploration of projects through strategy frameworks, user flows, wireframes, and prototypes for digital and physical interfacesArticulate a future vision for mobile experiences and a roadmap to get thereCraft leadershipLead, build, and develop a high-performing team of designers and technologistsPromote excellent design and ways of working, both within the Studio and throughout SamsungStakeholder partnership and collaborationCommunicate fluidly and effectively with design and product leadership stakeholders to inspire and influenceDrive cross-team collaboration among designers, researchers, and creative technologists within the Global UX Studio; partner with teams across Samsung and external agenciesRequired Skills:Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or equivalent required. Master’s or PhD preferred or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience16+ years of User Experience, HCI, Interaction Design, or combination as a foundation3+ years’ experience in leading and managing small-to-medium multi-disciplinary UX teamsExperience with design innovation, incubation, or startup environments, working with emerging consumer technologies and productsExcellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts and generate enthusiasm among senior stakeholdersStorytelling skills and the ability to create compelling narratives using visual toolsExperience managing outside agenciesA portfolio that demonstrates past work in innovative interface design including but not limited to OS, mobile, web, AR/VR, multimodal, voice etc.
