We are united by a common goal - to reimagine the future of beauty.The Opportunity:The Director, Marketing Transformation leads cross-department strategic transformation initiatives that enhance the marketing organization's capabilities and team collaboration. This role advises and achieves buy-in with senior leadership on iterative organizational design opportunities, capability development, and change management approaches. The Director manages a small but impactful team and builds strong rapport across all marketing senior leaders and key cross-functional leaders in Operational Excellence and HR.Responsibilities:Foster a learning mindset, permission to experiment, and a culture of cross-pollination and knowledge-sharing.Define the Marketing Organization’s future state vision for team members’ core competencies to inform career development and L&D strategies.Cultivate and enhance marketing’s core values and operating principles in line with Sephora’s purpose and values.Design and gain leadership alignment on comprehensive transformation strategies that align with Sephora's marketing goals and organizational vision.Identify opportunities for process optimization and organizational evolution through stakeholder feedback and data analysis.Synthesize insights from multiple sources to inform strategic recommendations.Establish and socialize best practices to ensure continuity where needed and agility where beneficial.Change Championship (30%):Promote departmental adoption by providing necessary trainings, tools, and cross-team support.Partner closely with the Change Management team in Operational Excellence and with L&D to leverage existing tools and trainings, customizing where necessary.Learning & Development (20%):Establish an annual L&D plan that supports our iterative operating model and a culture of empowerment and feedback.Partner with HR on supplemental L&D resources.Communicate information and ideas succinctly so others can understand and translate them into action to drive the business.Qualifications:Strong strategic vision-setting and team management skills.Effective cross-functional team influence and communication abilities.Expertise in change readiness and management.Ability to organize thoughts to clearly and effectively communicate.Leadership and executive presence.Ability to prioritize team focus to drive the highest return to the business.Agile coaching skills.Proactive problem identification and solving abilities.Results-driven and highly adaptable to near-constant change.Ability to engage and inspire teams.Project prioritization, organization, and delegation skills.Values uniqueness and differences.Ability to identify opportunities for operational optimizations.Cultivates creativity and disruption.Experience:8 to 10 years of experience in organizational transformation, culture development, and change management.2 to 4 years of experience leading a direct team and negotiating and influencing a broad group of senior stakeholders.2 to 4 years of experience working with consultancies or external partners, ideally within a strategy consulting organization.Reports To: VP of Marketing Transformation and OperationsDirect Reports:Senior Manager, TransformationJoin us in transforming the marketing organization and setting the pace for innovation and excellence. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
