Our clients Consumer Marketing - Brand & Creative Team is looking for an outstanding creative Art Director/Production Designer - a creative agenda-setter, with a proven track record of consistently raising creative standards and a natural ability to think differently and inspire others.
The Art Director will have an integral role within the in-house Consumer Marketing Brand & Creative Team which leads the origination, definition and production of creative content in the form of go-to-market marketing communications. The team leads creative quality and consistency for the key consumer facing businesses by producing creative content across global marketing channels.
The Consumer Marketing Brand & Creative Lab is looking for a self-motivated, forward-thinking Art Director with a balance of creative ideation and core production skills. The role will include hands-on participation by connecting projects into agencies and guiding art direction for other production designers. The chosen candidate will have a core creative background in creative marketing with strong experience in brand design and will be proficient in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud apps.
The position will partner closely with the Brand & Creative Lab Creative Director and Operations Manager as well as project producers. On a day-to-day basis you will work closely on assignments with a Brand & Creative Lab Producer & will provide art direction to a team of designers & copywriters. You will focus on the generation of best-in-class brand creative and strategy, partnering with channel leads and our agency partners.
The role supports Consumer Marketing products across launch moments through to evergreen sustain marketing communications for all consumer channels (web, Social, retail, RM & paid media)
We primarily want this role to jump into all types of work. Both design production work as well as having the chance to art direct designers).

Responsibilities
- Create concepts and craft creative direction for top tier assignments.
- Produce high quality content in-house.
- Communicate and brief-in creative concepts to agencies.
- Build and develop pitch decks to communicate ideas aligned to marketing briefs.
- Pitch and present creative concepts and direction aligned to business strategy.
- Communicate and prepare teammates on design production tasks.
- Collaborate with the Operations manager and Producer(s) to resource the appropriate internal and/or agency artists for creative assignments.
- Create strong working relationships with key partners (channel leads & brand)
- Be an advocate of creative quality and consistency
- 7 yrs.+ experience originating world class creative assets for consumer brands.
- Advanced experience using Figma for building, sharing, collaborating, & exporting assets.
- Experience in leading both external and internal design teams.
- Strong Production design capability
- In-depth knowledge of production pipelines (CG, Live action, Brand design)
- Familiarity in presenting creative ideas to agencies.
- Great generalist in motion & graphic design
- Skill in delivering the highest quality creative ideas and communication.
- Diverse and highly inclusive perspective a must
- Knowledge and experience in digital consumer marketing including social, web and retail.
- Highly motivated self-starter, self-initiator with strong proactive skills
- Outstanding organization and communication skills
- Calm and respectful under pressure
- Great time management and multi-tasking skills
