As a Social Media Community Manager, you’ll be responsible for driving Rocket’s voice across social media platforms through social-first campaigns, monitoring and engaging.
About the Role

Lead in driving Rocket’s proactive efforts to drive positive conversations

Layer strategic community management efforts into campaigns and marketing initiatives

Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to streamline processes, workstreams and efforts to drive top-quality customer service and content

Serve as subject matter expert in relation to social-media best practices, social content excellence and community management

Represent social team in assigned campaigns, including but not limited to brainstorming, inputting specific social requests, routing content for approvals, and publishing content

Develop and write social media content and copy to support broader marketing campaigns and initiatives

Manage organic social content calendar and alert distribution lists

Monitor and respond to in-bound inquiries, issues and escalations

Identify and respond to social conversations that inject rocket into relevant cultural conversations and create a positive brand halo

Properly format and distribute social media alerts quickly and accurately to the appropriate individuals including senior and executive leadership

Follow up on resolution of social alerts and ensure resolution for all appropriate parties
About You
-
Minimum 4 years of social media and community management experiences, preferably at large organizations or agencies

Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field

Proficiency in all social platforms and social monitoring technologies like Sprout

Zeal for cultural zeitgeist and trends, and abreast of all social media best practices

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Knowledge of project management systems
-
Ability to work weekends, evenings and holidays as needed
