Compensation: $130,000 - $170,000 annual

Role Summary:
Wave is seeking a Creative Development Lead to join the Wave original content team. This role will work closely with the EVP, Original Content in ideating, developing and deck building of creative concepts leading to Wave’s next hit digital series and new content formats. This role will also work across the content team to strategize and help develop high-impact content moments on the existing Wave slate. The ideal candidate combines creative vision and writing, innovative personality, digital media expertise, a passion for sports and entertainment, and a collaborative approach to producing high-quality content that resonates with audiences and aligns with the Wave brand.
Responsibilities
Run point on the ideation and conceptualization of new series and formats
Lead development of creative materials including pitch decks and sizzle reels
Build and manage creative development process in line with Wave’s content objectives
Present work with creative enthusiasm both internally and externally at an expert level
Provide creative input and guidance as new concepts transition from development to production
Lead regularly scheduled content development brainstorms with Originals team
Collaborate with content EPs to help develop marquee moments on existing Wave shows
Qualifications
Minimum 7 years of content development for notable platforms
Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt to different voices, content verticals and formats
Deep portfolio of creative content materials including pitch decks, pilots and greenlit projects
Proven track record of creativity and consistent innovation in digital media space
Expertise of unscripted and episodic production including branded content
Proficient managing relationships with high-profile talent and brand partners
Strong understanding of digital media trends and how audiences consume content across platforms
Highly skilled in managing multiple projects and priorities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

This role is a full-time position with a base salary range of $130,000 - $170,000/year, and may be eligible for an annual bonus and equity. Actual salary at the time of offer may vary based on multiple factors, including an individual's experience level and qualifications. Physical Requirements + Work Environment
Capacity to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery and hardware.
The ability to communicate and exchange information clearly and accurately.
Work is sedentary and involves sitting for the majority of work hours.
Able to work full-time M-F and nights and weekends as needed.
The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions and work is performed in a business office environment.
The worker may be exposed to variable lighting conditions (brightness or darkness) and noise during production when in the office.
