About the Role:
Are you passionate about flooring and design? Ace Hardware & Home Center is seeking a Flooring & Design Specialist to join our team in Portales, NM. As a specialist, you will play a key role in assisting customers with their flooring and design needs, providing expert advice and guidance to help them create their dream spaces.

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers in selecting the right flooring materials and designs for their homes or businesses
• Provide expert knowledge and advice on different types of flooring, including hardwood, laminate, tile, and carpet
• Create and present design proposals to customers, incorporating their preferences and budget
• Collaborate with installation teams to ensure seamless execution of design plans
• Maintain a clean and organized showroom, showcasing the latest flooring products and designs

Requirements:

• Prior experience in flooring sales or design preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Knowledge of different types of flooring materials and their applications
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple customer projects simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and a creative eye for design
• Basic Computer Skills preferred
