Job DescriptionThe Role
This is a Desktop Publishing role, creating impactful and engaging content across various formats, including newsletters, presentations, data visualizations, and more. Using your experience of a year or more in layout and design, you will transform data and written content into compelling layouts, designs, and graphics that showcase our expertise, consistently delivering business-critical intelligence to our customers. You will also embrace and implement new production technologies and workflows to optimize efficiency and enhance the visual appeal of our outputs.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Content Design & Development
- Partner with reporters, analysts, economists and editors and other stakeholders to efficiently lay out newsletters, reports, whitepapers and studies, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and visual appeal.
- Bring enthusiasm and a willingness to learn by making creative suggestions to improve design and streamline processes, enhancing the visual impact and effectiveness of our business-critical prices and forecasts.
- Design eye-catching and informative charts, graphs and infographics that transform complex data into actionable insights for our users.
Process Improvement & Efficiency
- Learn and utilize automation tools to streamline repetitive tasks and optimize workflows, freeing up time for more creative initiatives.
- Implement quality assurance measures to ensure all deliverables meet our brand standards and exceed client expectations.
- Explore and implement innovative solutions to enhance content delivery and user engagement.
- Suggest and develop ways to personalize content based on user preferences and behavior, tailoring presentations and other deliverables for maximum impact.
KEY INTERFACES
- You report into the Production Team Leader.
- You work closely with cross-functional teams, contributing to a supportive environment that encourages learning and knowledge-sharing and maximizes team performance.
- You cultivate strong working relationships with reporters, editors, researchers and analysts based on your willingness to learn and contribute effectively.
- You are receptive to mentoring and coaching from colleagues, developing your skills supporting and team efforts to improve consistency and operational efficiency.

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
We are looking for an individual who is highly motivated, driven, and have a passion to be part of a fast-paced, successful team. Being a strong team player is also important as well as someone who is happy to work flexibly.
- Approximately one year of experience in a related role.
- A strong command of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, InCopy, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro) and familiarity with data visualization tools is a must.
- You can translate complex data into clear, engaging narratives through effective visualization and design, both in static formats and presentations.
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment, embrace new technologies, and quickly adapt to evolving content demands.
- You work effectively with editors, designers and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality content on time.
- You boast creative problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- You respond positively to change, adapting quickly to evolving business priorities.
- You are skilled in building strong working relationships with other teams, utilizing excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- You are fluent in English.
