This role is about bringing ideas to life visually - think bold designs, streamlined campaigns, and team collaboration that make magic happen. Mahlum, an award-winning design firm with over 80 staff in two Pacific Northwest offices, seeks a Visual Communications Designer to support its practice. We are looking for a highly motivated individual, who brings optimism and positivity, and a demonstrated ability to thrive with multiple deadlines. This is responsible for various activities including: Responsibilities Designing Visual Assets: Social media/website graphics, infographics, email templates, print materials, presentation graphics Maintaining Brand Consistency: Ensuring all designs align with Mahlum's brand guidelines Managing Project Workflows: Organizing marketing campaigns, setting deadlines, and keeping teams on track Content Creation and Collaboration: Working with architects, designers, planners, and Marketing team members to develop cohesive projects Archiving and File Management: Help maintain an organized library of design files and marketing assets Diverse writing and editing assignments for internal and external messaging Requirements Minimum of 8 years' experience in key areas of responsibility Proficiency in tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), WordPress, and Microsoft Office Interest in and awareness of design trends and best practices Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. Monday.com, Miro) Strong attention to detail for proofreading and quality control Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Clear communication and collaboration skills Problem-solving and adaptability A creative and proactive mindset Preferred Experience Associate or bachelor's degree in graphics, communications, or related field Knowledge of video editing or motion graphics Proficiency in Open Asset Mahlum Mahlum has a culture committed to sustainability, justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion. Please note that with pay equity analysis, starting salary is based on the experience stated on your resume/application.
