Job Title: Business Analyst/Technical Writer
Location: In office Richmond, VA - at least 3 days per week
Business Analyst/Technical Writer for a long-term contract opportunity with one of our clients in the Richmond, VA area.
- Business Analyst with IT Technical Writing Experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Technical documentations including user documentation how-to guides, integration guides, computer systems operation guides and product specifications that increase the experience of the digital platform.
Translate Developer documentation into a technical document for all to understand, including business users.
Experience working with other technical experts, such as engineers and software developers, to ensure that the information they provide is accurate and easy to understand.
Understand and explain complex technical concepts.
Strong research and analytical skills and very detail-oriented.
Experience developing large scale training for users on new systems or applications to include training plans, documentation, user guides, job aids, etc.
Ability to undertake multiple projects and deliver on tight deadlines.
Excellent technical writing skills and verbal communication skills.
Good working knowledge of MS Office or Google Docs
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or other related disciplines
10 Years - Proven experience in systems documentation to include source code, technical documentations including user documentation.
6 Years - Ability to analyze and document business system processes
6 Years - Technical experience translating client and product strategy requirements
6 Years - Experience developing large scale training for users on new systems or applications to include training plans, documentation, user guides, job aids
