About the role

We are in search of a committed Social Media & Content Strategist. The perfect candidate will play a pivotal role in content creation, overseeing social media calendars across various platforms, managing analytics, user-generated content, and cultivating influencer relationships. This position demands a hands-on mentality, meticulous attention to detail, and effective collaboration with the design and marketing teams. Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, the chosen candidate will be a key contributor to our overall social strategy.

What you’ll do

  1. Conceptualize and create a high volume of relevant, insightful content across our social channels, with strong skills in video producing, editing, and social media copywriting.
  2. Comfortable and excited about ideating and pitching original ideas that will reach a large audience through social media & email marketing.
  3. Shows a demonstrable interest and passion in making creative content on social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, email, etc.
  4. Proven ability to create social media engagement and organic growth.
  5. Assist in creating and executing a long-term social growth strategy through acquisition, retention, influencer, and engagement practices.
  6. Create, maintain, and publish the social calendar across channels to support campaigns, launches, seasonal themes, and events.
  7. Manage influencer platform or agency and influencer relationships to drive revenue growth, awareness, and content goals.
  8. Assist in management of external social agencies and vendors.
  9. Work with internal and external teams to establish annual PR/Influencer strategies.
  10. Collaborate closely with the Ecommerce and Sales Team to ensure 360 digital activations are executed on social channels.
  11. Gather social/influencer performance data for optimization opportunities.
  12. Build and maintain social community relationships with customers, influencers, retailers, and industry favorites by replying to, commenting, and liking relevant posts.
  13. Troubleshoot issues raised on social channels and work to resolve with appropriate team members.
  14. Maintain and execute the PR early needs samples to agencies, field, and markets.
  15. Create and distribute monthly PR newsletter and press tools for the sales team.
  16. Prepare weekly and monthly reports on content performance & audience insights.
  17. Track, analyze, and report on the performance of our social content, and continuously optimize social strategy based on our best performing content.
  18. Develop and execute community strategies to build brand awareness and engagement.

Qualifications

  1. BA/BS Degree • 3-5 years of social media, digital marketing, content creation experience
  2. Strong written and verbal communication skills
  3. Deep understanding of social media platforms; Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube, etc.
  4. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Google Analytics, and Social Media Scheduling tools.
  5. Prestige beauty or oral healthcare industry experience a plus
  6. Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
