Position Summary Information

The Digital Content & CRM Specialist supports the management, organization, and optimization of Forsyth Tech’s digital content and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system(s). This role assists in ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of website content, knowledge base updates, and CRM workflows to enhance student engagement, staff efficiency, and institutional success. Working closely with the Knowledge Management & CRM Coordinator, the specialist plays a key role in maintaining digital resources and supporting automation initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

Required:

  • Familiarity with CRM platforms
  • Experience with website content management systems (WordPress preferred, HTML, or similar tools)
  • Knowledge of knowledge base systems such as Element451, Freshdesk, and CollegeVine, with the ability to assist in managing and organizing evolving content
  • Strong organizational and data management skills
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles, digital accessibility, and content organization

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of Element451

Essential Job Duties

CRM Support & Workflow Optimization:

  • Assist in maintaining and updating the CRM system (Element451) to improve student engagement and communication
  • Support the creation and management of CRM workflows, automations, and segmentation to streamline processes
  • Help troubleshoot CRM-related issues, working with internal teams to optimize system performance
  • Assist in training staff on CRM tools and best practices

Digital Content & Knowledge Base Management:

  • Assist in maintaining and updating the college website to ensure content is accurate, accessible, and user-friendly
  • Support the knowledge bases in Element451, Freshdesk, CollegeVine, and any additional platforms as they are introduced
  • Review, refine, and organize articles, FAQs, and other resources to enhance usability and accessibility for students, staff, and faculty
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure digital content aligns with institutional messaging and branding
  • Assist in developing and implementing SEO strategies to improve content discoverability

Project Coordination & Support:

  • Work alongside the Knowledge Management & CRM Coordinator on digital engagement projects and initiatives
  • Assist in testing and implementing new CRM features, web tools, and AI-driven solutions
  • Help track and document project progress, ensuring deliverables are met on time
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the mission and goals of the department
