Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and organized Fashion Accessories Production Coordinator with 1-2 years of experience in men’s and women’s accessories. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing product needs across various brands and directing production flow between sales, design, and overseas factories, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of product samples. A strong understanding of production procedures, quality control, and customer requirements is essential.

About Us: Magid Inc. is a NYC-based leader in the design, import, and distribution of a multitude of Men’s & Women’s Branded Travel Accessories such as Luggage, Duffels, Backpacks, Cosmetic/Toiletry Bags, Handbags, Small Leather Goods, & Beach Totes. We are committed to delivering exceptional products while meeting the needs of large retail chains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee product coordination between sales, design, and overseas factories to ensure all product needs are met.
  • Manage customer requirements such as labels, ticketing, certifications, and testing requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with government import regulations and handling of imports.
  • Maintain and track product samples to ensure on-time deliveries.
  • Work with Sales & Design Team to ensure customer design needs are met and updated for on-time delivery.
  • Monitor quality control throughout the production process and ensure high standards are consistently met.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and overseas partners to streamline production and delivery processes.
  • Enter Purchase & Sales Orders into our ERP & Database Systems efficiently and in detail with strong product descriptions & specifications.
  • Communicate effectively among teams to ensure smooth operations and adherence to deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in production coordination, specifically within men’s and women’s accessories.
  • Strong knowledge of fabrications and industry-specific terminology related to materials, shapes, cuts, and product categories to communicate product features.
  • Strong & Agile computer skills for daily use of ERP & Database management systems to handle multiple styles within various brands.
  • Knowledge of labels, ticketing, certifications, and testing requirements for overseas production imports.
  • Strong sales/retail math skills to accurately manage and analyze production data.
  • Excellent multitasking and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and OneDrive.
  • Strong verbal, written, and follow-up communication skills.
