The Role
The Assistant Media Planner assists in the development of effective, innovative, and strategic solutions and is responsible for the day-to-day coordination and execution of approved media plans. The Assistant Media Planner also provides support to key team members in daily account management, reporting directly to the Media Supervisor.
What you'll do
Account & Client Management
- Maintain day-to-day operations of assigned accounts (billing issues, budget revisions, flowchart updating, competitive analysis, post-buy analysis, etc.).
- Produce work that delivers on client goals and gains industry recognition for creativity and results.
- Collaborate with the Media Planner in developing media strategies and points of view.
- Understand the client's business (market share, business priorities, key competitor strategies, etc.).
- Communicate effectively with Media Supervisor and Media Planners regarding day-to-day status and concerns.
Vendor & Media Evaluation
- Evaluate media options for their relevance in accomplishing client’s strategic goals.
- Assess inventory against audience segments for various media vehicles.
- Analyze demographic data to identify target audiences for online advertising.
- Stay informed on key developments and trends in media.
- Maintain relationships with media vendors to ensure positive representation of Noble People.
Campaign Execution & Maintenance
- Assist Media Planner to ensure proper progression of media buys.
- Prepare insertion orders and place advertising with media vehicles.
- Perform campaign analysis to assist in optimizations and planning decisions.
- Implement, traffic, troubleshoot, and analyze digital campaigns using a third-party ad server.
- Monitor media for pacing, delivery, placement, and discrepancies.

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with spreadsheets/Excel for organization.
- Proven track record of sound creative, strategic, and analytical thinking skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong interpersonal relationships.
- Strong math and analytical skills.
- Understanding of consumer insights.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Some travel and after-hours work required.
