If you answered "YES" to these questions, the Unemployment Insurance (UI) Support Division's Systems Support Section may be the place for you. We are looking for a positive, customer-focused analyst that will support staff using the UI program's information systems and technology.

As a UI Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for: supporting users in the operation of the UI program's systems; auditing system access reports to ensure proper use and access privileges; collaborating with partner areas, especially the Information Technology Branch; troubleshooting and triaging technical issues; utilizing project management principles; and leading or participating on various automation project teams in support of the UI program.

Telework is currently available; however, employees are required to report to the assigned headquarters in Sacramento, five (5) consecutive days per month. California Government Code Section 14200 requires employees to reside in California to telecommute. Travel and/or accommodation expenses to and from the assigned headquarters are the responsibility of the employee.

EDUCATION INFORMATION: When using education to qualify, unofficial transcripts or diploma must be submitted. You may bypass this requirement if you are not using education to meet the minimum qualifications. Applicants with foreign transcripts must provide a transcript evaluation that indicates the number of units to which the foreign course work is equivalent.

Working Conditions

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without the need for visa sponsorship by the start date of employment.

This position is in downtown Sacramento. The location provides easy access to light rail, commuter buses, and parking garages. Close to shopping, restaurants, and farmer’s markets. Hybrid telework arrangements will be considered.

Technical Skills, Experience or Aptitude:
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook.

Other Skills, Experience or Aptitude:
Previous benefit program work experience, strong analytical and problem resolution skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, and ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

Personal Attributes:
