Louis Vuitton Americas is seeking a Corporate Visual Merchandising Manager for Men's category. As a Corporate Visual Merchandising Manager you will be an ambassador of the Men's categories of Louis Vuitton Americas and ensure consistency, quality, and sophistication of the visual merchandising implementation on all Men's universe. You will support the business strategy and contribute to enhancing the client experience in store.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Windows

  • Coordinate with the Corporate Office Windows Director, and local VM teams for the window installation for all Men’s launches
  • Lead and give direction for window product change for every rotation
  • Plan, prepare and implement regular collection launches / rotations in partnership with regional VM teams.
  • Manage partnerships with relative merchandising teams to implement VM to support business initiatives.
  • Share qualitative and photographic feedback, after each rotation with the Corporate Visual Merchandising Director
  • Visit competitors and report best practices
  • Be the ambassador and role model in corporate office and store for visual merchandising, demonstrating an active genuine passion and strong enthusiasm
  • Master knowledge of all product categories with an emphasis in Men’s categories
  • Act as a proactive force in developing the business, leveraging visual merchandising as a way to drive sales
  • Lead VM recaps to be shared with Central Paris VM teams following each launch

Job responsibilities

Interactions with the Team, Preparation of Store Zoning and Events

  • Collaborate with the Store Manager, Team Manager(s) or Team Lead and Expert Client Advisor on business events (sales trends, new launches, new collections) and visual merchandising topics (permanent and seasonal visual merchandising guidelines)
  • Implement the store zonings for each product category in close collaboration with Expert Advisors, Team Managers or Leads leading a category, and Store Managers; propose alternative products in case of product shortage and validate the zoning with the Regional VM Manager.
  • Implement visual merchandising concepts for events in store

Day to Day Visual Merchandising Maintenance Checks

  • Create a VM culture of accountability and excellence in the Regions, training/coaching store teams in the importance of VM maintenance
  • Provide tailored coaching/guidance to regions to achieve consistent VM excellence
  • Ensure store teams are actively checking store maintenance and environment to maintain luxury retail standards, ensuring lighting, windows, props and furniture are in excellent condition
  • Confirm that all regions are actively reordering props, lighting and visual merchandising tools where necessary
  • Ensure products are displayed according to Louis Vuitton standards and current guidelines

  • Identifying employees with visual merchandising strengths within the regions
  • Set visual expectations, and proactively manage performance against expectations
  • Coach, train, motivate and develop visual team members to the best of their abilities to support strong succession planning
  • Communicate corporate category directives to visual team

General

  • Perform as a team-player, participate in all activities contributing to the overall objectives of the stores
  • Develop the highest Brand and product knowledge
  • Respect Louis Vuitton Brand standards in terms of grooming and behavior
  • Follow the company’s policies and procedures

We are eager to speak to professionals who have exceptional experience in retail luxury Visual Merchandising. A passionate, pragmatic, and analytical professional who is driven for results and works well in a fast-paced environment; Ability to influence across the organization with sophisticated experience in window installations, Ready to Wear (RTW), and Accessories.

In addition this Visual Merchandising Manager will prioritize key opportunities with high expertise levels in leadership and VM. Enthusiastic team player with entrepreneurial spirit who will work closely with internal and external stakeholders.

Additional information

The appointed candidate will be offered a salary within the range of USD $130,000- 135,000 annually plus the opportunity for a bonus, a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, various paid time off programs, employee discount/perks and two retirement plans both with employer contributions.

The position requires 4 days per week on site in the Louis Vuitton Corporate Office, located in the heart of Midtown, Manhattan.
