About the Team

This role sits within the Academic & Government Acquisition and Customer Engagement Marketing team, a dynamic group responsible for activat ing campaigns and programs that support demand generation , pipeline, and retention across the customer lifecycle. Th is team thrives on collaboration, innovation, and knowledge sharing. With a strong focus on digital excellence, the team works closely with field , and solution marketing teams to ensure alignment and maximize marketing effectiveness.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Director, Digital Marketing, to lead this newly formed team within the Academic & Government Acquisition and Customer Engagement function. This team will play a critical role in Field-level campaign activation and strengthening the alignment and efficacy between Field and Global campaigns. This leader will work cross-functionally to drive consistency in digital execution, elevate digital marketing capabilities, support global campaign amplification, and ensure seamless field-specific support. Outside of our US posting location, we are open to applicants within APAC and EMEA as we have team members within these locations.

Responsibilities

Lead ing , mentor ing , and develop ing a team of digital marketers to drive excellence in execution and strategic alignment .

Work ing with Field Marketing Directors and Acquisition and Customer Engagement Directors to establish cohesive ways of working .

Fostering an environment of upskilling and professional growth. Develop expertise in using digital channels to engage customers across the lifecycle .

Ma nag ing the team workload and capacity , effectively . Identify ing opportunities to streamline work, optimize resource allocation, and leverage cross-functional support

Working with Acquisition and Customer Engagement to identify and drive foundational projects that enhance campaign effectiveness, aligning with the broader Research Marketing team on the roadmap.

Collaborating with Field Marketers to design and activate multi-channel digital marketing campaigns to drive awareness, build audience, and attract leads and support bookings targets .

Deliver ing support to Field Marketing, ensuring local teams continue to receive tailored digital marketing expertise .

Optimiz ing the Field digital marketing mix across paid search, paid social, SEO, and display advertising to maximiz e ROI for Field campaigns .

Work ing with Acquisition and Customer Engagement to optimize our newsletter, web and social strategy. Balance Field-specific challenges with scalable approaches and customer experience .

Co-designing and e xecut ing digital Account-Based Marketing (ABM) campaigns with Field Marketing and supported by Acquisition. Ensure field-led ABM strategies are effectively translated into digitally executed programs .

Support ing Customer Engagement and Customer Success initiatives by collaborating on digital programs that enhance customer experience and retention .

Establish ing consistent ways of working across the team, ensuring best practices in digital marketing execution across regional and global programs , creating a structured and scalable approach to campaign management and activation .

Help ing develop clear processes and guidelines for platforms ( e.g. IPM and Demandbase )

Develop ing effective processes for localization and amplification of global campaigns, working with the Acquisition team .

Leverag ing Monday.com to create a single, transparent view of all digital campaigns within specific markets .

Input ting into the development of robust reporting frameworks to track the effectiveness of digital campaigns with Field Marketing, Acquisition and Customer Engagement .

Requirements

Have 8 + years of experience in digital marketing, with a strong background in B2B across key digital channels including paid, social, SEO, email, CRM .

Comfortable working remotely, and a b le to be flexible in working hours to accommodate a globally dispersed team and stakeholders .

Experience in leading and developing marketing teams, particularly in a matrixed or global organization .

Have deep stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

Display e xpertise in digital campaign management and execution .

Have deep understanding of Field Marketing and the alignment between regional and global campaigns/programs .

Experience in demand generation acquisition and engagement strategies .

Display p roven experience in developing process and systems to drive standardization and efficiency .

Ab le to interpret data into meaningful insights to optimize campaigns and communicate to stakeholders .
