Bishop & Company is seeking candidates with strong UI, UX, data visualization, and web-based technology experience for an opportunity in Honolulu, HI.

This is an 100% on-site position. Candidates must reside on Oahu by time of Start. No 1099 or C2C available.

The Collaboration Systems Specialist will play a key role in developing and managing solutions within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, with a primary focus on SharePoint administration and Power Apps development. This position requires expertise in User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) design, along with a strong understanding of web-based technologies and database visualization tools. The specialist will be responsible for coordinating application development across teams, gathering user requirements, and implementing process improvements to enhance collaboration and knowledge management. A deep knowledge of SharePoint technologies, coupled with an understanding of Information Management (IM) and Knowledge Management (KM) principles, is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities Develop and enhance user interfaces for collaboration systems within Microsoft 365, ensuring an intuitive and engaging experience. Conduct user research, analyze feedback, and implement process improvements to optimize usability, accessibility, and user experience. Design, configure, and manage SharePoint-based solutions to improve knowledge sharing, document management, and collaboration. Ensure implementations align with best practices, security policies, and organizational standards, while providing technical support and troubleshooting for SharePoint-related issues.

Leverage Microsoft 365 tools to enhance digital collaboration, ensuring seamless integration across platforms such as Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint Online. Work closely with stakeholders to assess needs and implement efficient knowledge-sharing solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem. Apply Information Management (IM) and Knowledge Management (KM) principles to enhance content organization, retrieval, and governance. Define and implement information architecture, taxonomy strategies, and metadata standards to support effective data management and compliance. Provide backup support for Information and Knowledge Management functions, collaborating across teams to ensure continuity of operations. Adapt to evolving business needs by assisting with additional duties that align with organizational goals and priorities.

Required Skills & Qualifications Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and SharePoint for knowledge sharing, content management, and workflow automation. Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly formats. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with a focus on knowledge retention, process improvement, and collaboration. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI.
